Hilde Soliani Profumi
Italian fragrance where art, taste, and scent converge.
Hilde Soliani Profumi is the Parma-based fragrance house of the Italian artist, jewellery designer, and theatrical performer Hilde Soliani, who turned to scent after two decades as a marketing consultant and ten years in theatre. Working in a small laboratory in Parma, she creates compositions that reflect her theatrical sensibility and her obsession with the intersections of smell and taste — her Teatro Olfattivo Parma concept treats fragrance as staged performance, each release a distinct scene in an ongoing olfactive drama. Soliani uses time-honoured methods alongside contemporary materials, producing work that is at once strikingly individual and rooted in traditional Italian craftsmanship. The house is especially beloved by collectors who appreciate its eccentricity: food-inspired accords, unconventional raw materials, and a personality too particular to mistake for anything else.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
