Humiecki Graef
Human emotion rendered in scent.
Humiecki Graef is a Berlin-based niche house founded in 2008 by Sebastian Fischenich and Tobias Müksch with an explicitly psychological concept: each fragrance is designed to evoke a specific emotional state or human experience rather than to describe a material or a place. The founders collaborate with prominent perfumers, most notably Christophe Laudamiel and Christophe Hornetz, inviting them to translate emotion briefs into scent. Releases such as Geste and Skarb explore joy, trust, grief, and sensuality with unusual structural ambition. The house operates at a niche price level and distributes selectively through specialist retailers. Humiecki Graef occupies a corner of the niche market that takes seriously the claim that fragrance can function as emotional architecture, and the involvement of internationally recognized perfumers lends the project genuine credibility beyond concept alone.
