Il Profumiere
Il Profumiere is a small Italian niche house working out of a workshop on the Adriatic coast, presenting its line as a personal catalogue rather than a branded collection. The bottles are uniform — clear glass, simple typography, numbered references — and the compositions lean on Mediterranean materials: bitter citrus, aromatic herbs, fig, neroli, sea salt, occasional incense. Distribution is largely through the house's own e-commerce and a handful of independent perfumeries in Italy and northern Europe. The aesthetic is closer to the contemporary Italian artisan school — straightforward, ingredient-led, modestly priced for niche — than to the heavily concept-driven luxury houses that share its country of origin. Public information about the perfumer behind the line remains thin, which is consistent with how the project is presented: as scent first, biography later.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
