In Astra is an Italian niche fragrance house founded in 2020 by sisters Sofia and Fabiola Bardelli, taking its name from the Latin for "toward the stars" and grounding its aesthetic in celestial imagery, light phenomena, and the boundaries between earth and sky. The house collaborates with acclaimed French-born perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour — known for complex, poetic compositions at houses like L'Artisan Parfumeur and Papillon — to create fragrances of real compositional ambition. Releases like Crepuscolo and Stelle Invisibili establish a lyrical, introspective register that balances Italian material elegance with Duchaufour's characteristic structural depth. In Astra distributes through carefully selected international niche boutiques.
