J. Del Pozo
The romantic drama of Spanish style, bottled.
J. del Pozo is the fragrance line born from the fashion house of Jesús del Pozo, the Madrid-born designer who opened his first men's boutique on Almirante Street in 1974 and became a pivotal figure in La Movida — Spain's cultural renaissance of the late 1970s and 1980s. Del Pozo entered perfumery in 1992 with his debut feminine fragrance Duende, going on to release a string of iconic scents including the widely beloved Halloween in 1997 that drew on the theatricality of Spanish Baroque and Gothic imagination. His creations carried the romantic drama and artisanal spirit of his runway work into daily life. Following his death in 2011, Grupo Perfumes y Diseño acquired the brand and continues to produce the portfolio, keeping the founder's vision of Spanish elegance accessible to a broad audience.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
