J. / Junaid Jamshed
Pakistan's first fashion house to produce its own fragrance line.
J. (Junaid Jamshed) is a Pakistani fashion and lifestyle brand founded in 2002 by Junaid Jamshed, a pop singer turned fashion entrepreneur and Islamic scholar, who passed away in a plane crash in 2016. The brand is regarded as a pioneer of modern Pakistani fashion retail, building a network of stores across Pakistan offering clothing, accessories, and fragrance. The fragrance line operates as a meaningful commercial category within the brand, producing attars, concentrated perfume oils, and eau de parfum formats that blend Arabic oriental conventions with accessible pricing for the Pakistani consumer. Products skew toward rose, oud, musk, and woody oriental compositions that reflect the fragrance preferences of South Asian and Pakistani Muslim consumers. After Jamshed's death, J. continued operating under new management and retained its position as one of Pakistan's most recognisable fashion brands. The fragrance line continues to grow, selling through J.'s extensive retail network and online store. The brand serves as a significant point of entry into fine fragrance for Pakistani consumers who might not have access to imported designer brands.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
