Jardin De France
Authentic French perfumery crafted in Bourgogne since 1920.
Jardin de France was founded in 1920 in Amboise, in the heart of the Loire Valley — the region the French call the garden of France. The original company was named La Parfumerie du Jardin de la France and concentrated almost entirely on eau de cologne, the dominant French perfumery format of the period. The operation later moved to Bourbon Lancy, drawn by the town's hot springs and its proximity to the Loire's water sources, and continued producing colognes in this older, lighter idiom well into the 1970s. The current catalogue still leans on hesperidic and floral cologne structures, though the range has widened to include fuller eau de toilette concentrations. The house remains independently owned and operates from Bourbon Lancy, distributing primarily through French pharmacies, parapharmacies and a small export network. The pricing sits at the affordable end of the French traditional market.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
