Jeanne En Provence
Grasse-rooted French perfumery for everyone.
Jeanne en Provence is a French perfume and cosmetics brand owned by Groupe Arthes, the family company founded in Grasse in 1978 by Bernard Perrin. The line was conceived as a way to bring the techniques and raw materials of the Grasse perfumery tradition — lavender, iris, neroli, fig, mimosa, olive — to a wider, mass-retail audience at accessible price points. The collection is built around Provencal motifs: garden florals, herbal accords, and soft fruity gourmands, paired with body care extensions developed since 2012 under Perrin's son. The aesthetic leans on the visual codes of Provence rather than on contemporary niche minimalism, with floral-illustrated boxes and traditional flacons. Distribution is broad and supermarket-friendly, with the wider Arthes group present in over 120 countries through multiple brands. Jeanne en Provence sits in the accessible French perfumery tier rather than the niche or prestige segments.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
