Jimmy Choo
I Want Choo.
Jimmy Choo began as a London couture shoe atelier opened in 1996 by Malaysian-born cobbler Jimmy Choo and former Vogue accessories editor Tamara Mellon. The label built its reputation on red-carpet stilettos and a knowing, slightly louche glamour that translated easily into licensed extensions. Fragrance launched in 2011 under a license agreement with Inter Parfums, beginning with the eponymous Jimmy Choo eau de parfum — a fruity-chypre composed by Olivier Polge — and expanding into Man, Illicit, I Want Choo, and a steady run of flankers. The license runs through 2031. The parent fashion company has been owned by Capri Holdings since the 2017 acquisition of Jimmy Choo by Michael Kors's group, which sits alongside Versace in Capri's luxury portfolio.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
