Jorum Studio
Scotland's only end-to-end perfume house, crafting in Edinburgh since 2019.
Jorum Studio was founded in Edinburgh in 2019 by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall and his partner Chloe Mullen, making it the only fragrance house in Scotland that researches, develops, and hand-crafts its scents entirely on location. McCall's path to perfumery began in his grandparents' nursery business, where he absorbed the scented rhythms of a working garden; a decade of freelance perfumery under the Jorum Laboratories banner preceded the public launch of the studio brand. Mullen brings complementary rigour as designer of the packaging and manager of supply and logistics. The studio's aesthetic is rooted in a deep sensibility for the Scottish landscape—moors, Atlantic coasts, forested glens—translated through the language of modern European haute parfumerie. Compositions prioritise innovative structure while honouring the classical tradition: there is nothing rustic or sentimental about Jorum's treatments of familiar natural raw materials, only a precision that reflects McCall's training as a working perfumer rather than a romantic amateur. Each batch is produced in the Edinburgh studio, keeping the scale deliberately intimate. Jorum Studio has attracted serious attention across the UK and European independent fragrance community since its debut, and has exhibited at Pitti Fragranze in Florence. The house stands as a credible argument that world-class niche perfumery need not be confined to Paris, London, or New York.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
