Jousset Parfums
Ultra-Gourmand French extraits, hand-blended.
Jousset Parfums is a French gourmand niche house founded in 2020 by Jimmy Bodin and his partner Melis Bodin, who coined the term "Ultra-Gourmand" to describe their style. The name is a tribute to Jimmy's mother; the workshop sits in France, where every extrait is hand-blended in small batches at unusually high concentrations of around 28 to 33 per cent. The catalogue reads like a French pâtisserie window translated into perfumery — caramel, praline, brioche, fig, candied fruit — with construction that tries to keep the scents wearable rather than merely edible. Distribution runs through niche retailers in Europe and North America. Jousset suits wearers who already love gourmands and want them at extrait density, with the longevity and projection that implies.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
