Kajal
Where Arabian heritage meets French perfumery.
Kajal Perfumes Paris was founded in 2014 by friends Ibrahim and Moe Khalaf, with creative direction from Moe Khalaf. The company is registered in Dubai while its production is based in France, and the line carries the visual restraint of contemporary French luxury alongside the olfactory weight of Gulf perfumery. The original house collection paired oud, rose, saffron, and amber with cleaner woody and floral structures than traditional Khaleeji perfumery. Subsequent collections — Lamar, Almaz, Warde — extended the range across more mainstream niche territory while keeping the heavy lacquered bottle and the kohl-eye logo as constants. Kajal has grown quickly into a fixture of upper-tier travel retail and luxury department-store distribution, sitting between Western niche and Middle Eastern oud houses rather than committing fully to either tradition.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
