LabSolue
From Laboratory and Absolute, olfactive beauty is born
LabSolue is a Milanese niche perfume house founded in 2013 by sisters Giorgia and Ambra Martone, whose family has been involved in Italian perfumery since their great-grandfather Vincenzo Martone established Marvin Pharmacy in the early twentieth century. The house grew out of the family archive at ICR, the cosmetics manufacturer that the Martones built into a major contract producer for European luxury fragrance. The brand name fuses laboratorio and assoluto, and the line presents itself as an open laboratory: a wide catalogue of around seventy fragrances grouped by olfactory family, signed by various international perfumers, and rotated more freely than is usual in luxury releases. Each composition is positioned as a study of a particular accord rather than a marketing concept. LabSolue runs flagship boutiques in Milan and Capri, including a fragrance-themed hotel project, and distributes selectively through Italian and international niche perfumeries.
