Le Chameau
Le Chameau, as represented in the perfume databases, is a fragrance line produced by the Dubai-based manufacturer Emper Perfumes & Cosmetics rather than by the unrelated French rubber-boot maker of the same name. The house releases sweet, accessible compositions across collections such as Crème Couture, Places of New York, and Arabia, drawing on the Khaleeji-meets-Western-gourmand idiom that defines much of contemporary Emirati perfumery. Releases since the early 2020s have leaned heavily on vanilla, fruit, rose, oud, and amber, often in playful pairings — cotton candy, blueberry, kunafa — and packaged in ornate flacons aimed at gifting and travel-retail. Distribution runs through regional perfumeries and online retailers; the brand is not aimed at niche connoisseurship so much as at the popular Gulf fragrance market.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
