Lelas
Tap your scent — Istanbul niche perfumery.
Lelas is a Turkish perfume house founded in Istanbul in 2014, built around the symbolism of the lilac flower — Lelas being a stylisation of the Turkish word for lilac — and pitched as a bridge between Eastern opulence and a more contemporary Western perfumery aesthetic. The brand has expanded into more than twenty countries through over a hundred sales points across the Gulf, Europe and North America. The catalogue runs to dozens of fragrances across men's, women's and unisex lines, leaning on rich oud, oriental amber, rose and saffron compositions in the Khaleeji-influenced style that dominates Turkish niche. Bottles are heavy and lacquered, often gilded, in line with the gifting culture the house addresses. Lelas suits wearers who like Middle East-style perfumery delivered with a Mediterranean, Istanbul-by-way-of-Paris finish.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
