Lesquendieu
Le Parfum de Luxe à la Française.
Maison Lesquendieu was founded in Paris in 1903 by Joseph Lesquendieu, a graduate of the École de Pharmacie d'Amiens who opened his perfume and cosmetics house at 5 bis rue de la Tacherie with a simple and absolute ambition: to create luxury fragrances without budgetary constraint, favouring quality over quantity without exception. The approach succeeded immediately, drawing an affluent Parisian clientele and earning international recognition so rapidly that an American division opened on West 45th Street in New York as early as 1904. Lesquendieu fragrances are manufactured in Grasse, France's perfume heartland, and the house's finishing details reflect that uncompromising standard — bottles hand-worked by master glassmakers, caps finished in twenty-four-karat gold leaf, and formulas designed for longevity of up to thirty-six hours on skin. Revived in recent years with new compositions alongside its historical archive, the Maison continues to embody what Lesquendieu himself called the promise of genuine French luxury: natural, clean, and made without concession.
