Lootah
Emirati heritage in contemporary fragrance.
Lootah Perfumes was founded in Dubai in 2012 by Saleh Bin Nasser Bin Lootah, drawing on a family heritage connected to the UAE's centuries-old spice and oud trading culture. The house creates fragrances that translate traditional Emirati and Gulf olfactory vocabulary — oud, rose, amber, incense — into a contemporary idiom accessible to international audiences. Collections such as 1001 Nights, Salim, and Bint Hooran balance warm resinous depth with modern clarity of construction. The founder's stated aim is to preserve Gulf fragrance traditions without confining them to nostalgia, producing compositions that function in global luxury retail as confidently as in regional souks. Lootah is family-owned and independent, which allows it to make slower, more considered releases than corporate Gulf fragrance brands, and to maintain a consistent handcrafted identity.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
