Luminous Star Perfumes was an American indie perfumery founded around 2018 and operated as a one-woman studio by a creator known as Erin. Based in the United States, the brand specialised in handcrafted, cruelty-free, and vegan perfume oils sold primarily through direct-to-consumer channels and marketplaces. The collections drew playful inspiration from pop culture touchstones — most notably the Sailor Moon franchise — with themed lines such as Pretty Girls and Pretty Soldiers that resonated strongly with the anime fragrance community. Scents were offered as affordable 1 ml sample vials and 10 ml oils, making the brand an accessible entry point for fragrance discovery. Luminous Star closed in May 2019, leaving behind a small but fondly remembered catalogue that demonstrated how a single devoted nose could build community around shared aesthetic passions.
