Manish Arora
Maximalism meets luxury.
Manish Arora is an Indian luxury fashion house founded in 1997 by designer Manish Arora, a National Institute of Fashion Technology graduate who became one of the first Indian designers to establish a significant presence on the Paris runway. His aesthetic is unmistakable: saturated color, embellishment, digital print, and an exuberant maximalism that fuses Indian craft traditions with contemporary art references and pop culture iconography. The fragrance collection, developed with perfumer Daphné Bugey, extends this philosophy into scent — complex, layered compositions with a theatrical character that resists easy categorization. Bugey's extensive background in fine fragrance gives the collection technical depth that elevates it above fashion fragrance norms. The fragrances are positioned in the niche tier, consistent with the haute couture price architecture of the clothing. Distributed through selective international retail alongside the main fashion business, Arora's fragrances function as wearable expressions of his total design vision and appeal to consumers who see dressing — and smelling — as an act of creative self-expression.
