Marc-Antoine Barrois
Authentic, sincere and respectful creations.
Marc-Antoine Barrois is a Paris-based niche fashion and fragrance house founded in 2016 by couturier Marc-Antoine Barrois, known for his work in Parisian haute couture before launching his independent label. The fragrance arm of the house was developed in close collaboration with Quentin Bisch, one of the most respected independent noses working in French perfumery, and the partnership has produced some of the most discussed niche releases of the late 2010s. B683, named for the year of Barrois's birth, launched the fragrance collection with an ink, cedar, and leather composition that drew immediate critical and commercial attention. Encre Noire-adjacent in mood but distinctly its own statement, B683 established the house's aesthetic: masculine-leaning, architectural, dark, and deeply personal. Subsequent releases including Ganymede — a fresh, silvery musk designed by Bisch as an antidote to the opening collection's intensity — expanded the creative range while maintaining the standard of craft. Marc-Antoine Barrois occupies a respected position in French independent niche perfumery, demonstrating that couture-trained founders can produce fragrance work of genuine depth when working with the right perfumer.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
