Meo Fusciuni
Emozioni in odore.
Meo Fusciuni is the perfume house of Giuseppe Imprezzabile, a biochemist and ethnobotanist born in 1977 in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, who spent his pre-perfume years cataloguing medicinal plants across the globe before running an herbalist's shop in northern Italy. The pseudonym is a family tribute: Meo shortens his father Bartolomeo's name, and Fusciuni — meaning flowing stream in Sicilian dialect — was his grandfather's nickname. Founded in 2010 with co-founder and artistic director Federica Castellani, the house treats fragrance as an authored literary form — every composition is a slow, layered meditation on memory, travel, silence, and the interior life. Collections are named and structured like books: Memorie di Viaggio, Autoritratti Luminosi, Autoritratti Oscuri. The aesthetic runs to smoky woods, resins, spices, tea accords, and textured florals assembled with the precision of a trained chemist and the intent of a poet. Meo Fusciuni is based in Sarzana, Liguria, and remains one of Italian niche perfumery's most singular and emotionally legible voices.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
