Mine Perfume Lab
Handmade artisanal perfumes, one by one
Mine Perfume Lab is an Italian niche house founded in 2017 in the wake of a seven-year project by Massimo and Maria Annunziata, a husband-and-wife team who set out to bring contemporary perfumery back to a smaller, more transparent scale. The brand positions itself as a laboratory rather than a maison, with formulas built around a high concentration of essence and named after their dominant ingredient. Fragrances are produced without parabens, dyes or animal-derived materials, and the house emphasises hand-finishing rather than fully industrial production. Compositions span linear soliflores, smoky resins, and bolder gourmand and incense studies, often released in modest editions. Distribution focuses on independent perfumeries across Europe and a growing presence in North American niche retailers, with a small but loyal following among collectors who appreciate the house's clarity of intent and its insistence on naming a perfume after its lead note.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
