Miu Miu
Prada's lighter, younger counterpart.
Miu Miu was conceived by Miuccia Prada in 1993 as a secondary line to the Prada house, initially channeling a younger, more experimental sensibility than its parent. By the time the brand launched its fragrance line—with the debut Miu Miu Eau de Parfum in 2015, composed by Daniela Andrier—it had evolved into a genuinely distinct voice. That opening release, built on lily of the valley, musk, and iris, established a template of softness with an unexpected edge. Later collaborations brought in Dominique Ropion and Pierre Aulas. The Miu Miu fragrance range maintains a prestige positioning that mirrors the fashion house's runway pricing: aspirational, fashion-facing, and international in distribution. The bottles—with their signature candy-clasp detail—are collectible objects in themselves. For consumers who find Prada proper too severe, Miu Miu offers the same luxury DNA delivered with more warmth, playfulness, and personality.
