Mustang
Wild American spirit in every spray.
Mustang Fragrances is an American fragrance brand launched in 2007 under licence from the Ford Motor Company and produced by Estée Lauder Companies, separately from the Estée Lauder-produced Ford Mustang line. Both brands trade on the same automotive iconography, but Mustang Fragrances positions itself slightly differently — leaning more explicitly into Western American imagery, wide-open spaces, and the mythology of the wild horse rather than the muscle car. Perfumer Ilias Ermenidis contributed to compositions in the range, bringing professional fragrance craft to what could easily be a pure licensing exercise. Masculine eaux de toilette dominate the portfolio, built around fresh aromatic, leathery, and woody accords suited to everyday wear at mass-market price points. Distribution follows the mass fragrance channel: drug stores, department stores, and online retail in the United States and export markets. The brand occupies a legitimate niche for men who want a no-fuss American fragrance identity without paying designer prices.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
