Natura
Bem Estar Bem
Natura was founded in 1969 in São Paulo by Luiz Seabra, beginning in a small laboratory. The company's singular commitment has always been to Brazilian biodiversity: Natura sources ingredients including Priprioca, Jabuticaba, Copaiba, and Pataqueira directly from the Amazon through programs that protect both ecosystems and the livelihoods of harvesting communities. It became the world's first major beauty company to achieve B Corp certification, in 2014, and reached carbon neutrality in 2007. The fragrance catalog is designed for Brazilian heat — compositions are generally skin-close, with moderate projection calibrated for equatorial wear. Key lines include Essencial (spicy-cedar masculine flagship), Kaiak (long-running aquatic since 1996), Ekos (Amazon-biodiversity-forward), and Ilía (contemporary floral-oriental feminines). Natura &Co, the parent holding company, also owns Avon, Aesop, and The Body Shop, consolidating Natura's position as a major global beauty group with deep sustainability credentials.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
