Navitus Parfums
Dubai-rooted modern luxury perfumery.
Navitus Parfums is a Dubai-based luxury fragrance house founded in 2019 by Hayan Merchant, who left a family business conglomerate after spending two years apprenticing with perfumers in Grasse and studying raw-material distillation. The debut collection of seven fragrances launched in New York in 2019 and reportedly sold out within twelve hours, drawing notice from the niche-perfume press. The house positions itself between Western artistic perfumery and the depth of Middle Eastern olfactive tradition, leaning on resinous woods, oud, saffron and clean musks. Its parent holding has roots in the region stretching back several decades. In 2023 the brand received the Up and Coming Niche Perfumery Brand of the Year award in the United States, and it formally opened its first Dubai boutique in 2024. The result is a quiet, somewhat opaque luxury house whose work suits collectors interested in dense, long-wearing modern oud compositions rather than transparent or citrus-led styles.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
