Nimerè
Saint Petersburg niche perfumery rooted in music.
Nimerè was founded in Saint Petersburg in 2015 by Nikolay Eremin, a saxophonist who came to perfumery through music rather than through chemistry or commerce. Eremin was born in Kazakhstan, grew up across multiple cities — Kaliningrad, Riga, Russia — and the movement between places, cultures, and sonic memories runs through the thematic architecture of the house. The catalog is organized into imaginative named collections: Russian Forest, Gypsy Blood, Pompadour. Each group draws on a specific cultural or historical reference, and Eremin has described the experience of his fragrances as "like jazz improvisation you can listen to endlessly" — compositions that reward repeated return rather than delivering a single, legible impression. Fragrances are handmade in small batches. The house has grown steadily since founding, now offering over thirty compositions. Megan Virtanen has collaborated on several releases alongside Eremin's own work. Distribution is primarily direct and through Eastern European niche retailers. Nimerè suits wearers who are drawn to artisan production, geographical specificity, and the idea of fragrance as cultural document.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
