NSHQ
Saudi Arabia's first female-founded perfume house.
NSHQ is a Middle Eastern fragrance label whose catalogue is closely tied to the work of perfumer Nouf Al Qahtani, with releases beginning in 2005 and continuing into the late 2010s. The line favours the materials long associated with the Gulf perfumery tradition: oud in several facets, amber, rose, saffron, and dense resinous bases. Most compositions are oil-rich and built for projection and longevity rather than the lighter, transparent profile of European designer fragrance. Several releases lean explicitly oriental — Fly To The East, Amberoud — while others rework softer ambery and floral territory. Distribution sits mainly in the Middle East and through specialist retailers serving wearers who collect attars and oud-led extraits. Public information about the parent company is thin, and the line is best understood as a perfumer-led house in the regional artisanal tradition rather than a globally distributed brand.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
