Opus Oils
Hollywood artisan perfumery from the Jitterbug Parlour.
Opus Oils is a Hollywood-based artisan perfumery run by Kedra Hart from her Jitterbug Perfume Parlour on Hollywood Boulevard. Hart, a four-time FiFi nominee and one of the developers of the original Apothecary at Barneys Beverly Hills, blends in small batches and works largely with naturals, mixing classical perfumery with a slightly theatrical Los Angeles sensibility. The house's catalogue runs to literary, cinematic and burlesque-inspired collections — Les Bohemes, Devil Scents, Pin-Up Girls — alongside bespoke commissions and on-site classes. Compositions favour resins, ambers, real florals and a grounded vintage feel, and the parlour itself functions as workshop, retail counter and teaching studio. Opus Oils suits wearers who like character-driven scents and the romance of an independent perfumer pouring their own bottles.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
