Pacific Perfumes
Wearable scents from the southern Pacific.
Pacific Perfumes was established in 2004 in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand, by two friends, Kate and Francesca, who wanted to create solid perfumes that reflected the natural beauty and spirit of the southern Pacific. Made exclusively from plant-based oils — no alcohol — with no parabens or phthalates, the house built its identity around ecological integrity and local sourcing. The original range draws on the essence of Aotearoa and the wider Pacific: forests, coastlines, and island botanicals translated into wearable fragrance in solid and roll-on oil formats. The Artisan Botanical range, which has won sustainable packaging awards in New York, extends the concept with materials tied to New Zealand's native species. The house donates to the New Zealand Forest and Bird Society. Distribution spans New Zealand, Fiji, and Hawaii — regions whose natural environments are both the brand's subject matter and its supply base. Pacific Perfumes suits wearers who approach fragrance as an extension of a broader environmental consciousness, and who prefer oil-based formats for their intimacy and directness on skin.
