Parfumane
Istanbul's perfume museum and house.
Parfumane is a Turkish niche perfume house and museum project founded by collector and perfumer Bekir Kantarci, with its earliest releases dating to 2020. The brand operates from a flagship in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar — billed as Turkey's first perfume museum — and a second boutique in the Nisantasi district, mixing retail with an osmotheque of antique bottles, attars, and historical aromatic objects. The compositions draw on the trade routes that converged on Anatolia: Ottoman rose and oud traditions, Mediterranean citrus and resin, Arabian incense, and Far Eastern spice. Many of the fragrances are oud-forward and built in an attar-influenced style, oriented toward collectors with a taste for opulent, slow-burning Eastern profiles. The museum framing is central to the brand identity — Kantarci's stated aim is to recreate the signature scents of palaces, temples, and ancient bazaars rather than chase contemporary trends.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
