Parfums Codibel
Parfums Codibel is a small fragrance label whose catalogue dates back to the early 1980s, with around three dozen scents released between 1983 and the mid-2000s. Most are themed around travel and place — Venezia di Codibel, Granada di Codibel, Latino, F1 Formula 1 — sold through European pharmacies, supermarkets and gift channels rather than department-store perfumery. The compositions sit firmly in the affordable end of the eighties and nineties commercial market: bright aldehydic florals, anise-and-leather masculines, fruity orientals built around the vocabulary of bigger designer launches of their period. Documentation of the company itself is thin, and most of what survives is the bottle archive on collector and reseller sites. It suits wearers picking up a piece of late-twentieth-century European drugstore perfumery rather than building from a current house line.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
