Plantes & Parfums
Provençal botanicals, composed in Grasse.
Plantes & Parfums de Provence is a Provençal house based in Sablet, in the Vaucluse, working at the intersection of botanical cosmetics, scented candles, room fragrance and personal perfumery. The company has operated for more than three decades; Delphine and David Lorenzi took over the group in 2011 and have continued its emphasis on natural raw materials and Grasse-based perfumery composition. The catalogue draws heavily on the regional flora — lavender, rose, fig, olive, immortelle, citrus — and is split across own-label collections, white-label production for other brands, and gift-shop exclusives sold through abbeys and tourist routes across southern France. Pricing sits squarely in the accessible tier, and compositions favour clarity and recognisability over conceptual abstraction. The house suits travellers who associate scent with place, and gift-givers looking for something rooted in a specific French region rather than a global luxury brief.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
