Prissana
Thai naturals in classical perfume structures.
Parfum Prissana was founded in Bangkok in 2018 by Prin Lomros, a Thai perfumer who named the house after his older sister. The project reinterprets the opulent structures of historical and Middle Eastern perfumery through materials native to Thailand — resins, tropical blossoms, aromatic woods — creating a bridge between the European classical tradition and the specific olfactory geography of Southeast Asia. Lomros composes everything himself, working from a studio in Bangkok where rare naturals from Thai forests and markets form the raw material base. The approach is uncompromisingly artisanal: small batches, high natural content, and formulas that draw on historical research into vintage compositions while remaining rooted in contemporary craft. The result is a line that reads as simultaneously archaic and geographically specific. Prissana distributes internationally through specialist retailers including Luckyscent in the United States, where it is classified in the ultra-niche tier alongside other single-perfumer houses of exceptional material quality. For collectors interested in what classical perfumery looks like when filtered through a non-European provenance, the house offers a rare and coherent answer.
