Profumi del Forte
Italian Riviera in a bottle.
Profumi del Forte was established in 2007 by Enzo Torre in Forte dei Marmi, a refined coastal town on the Versilian stretch of Tuscany. Torre grew up immersed in the sensory life of the Italian Riviera — the briny air, summer heat pressing on warm stone, the salt-damp coolness of shade beneath pines — and built his atelier as a means of preserving those memories in olfactory form. The house occupies a niche within niche perfumery: deeply site-specific, rooted in a single geographical imagination. Its fragrances are composed using only carefully selected raw materials, with particular attention to sourcing and craftsmanship. Over the years, Torre has collaborated with distinguished noses including Bertrand Duchaufour, Maria Candida Gentile, and Arturetto Landi, each lending their artistry to his vision without diluting the house's singular coastal character. Profumi del Forte perfumes tend to balance light Mediterranean expansiveness with an Italian sense of formality — fragrances that feel like a summer wardrobe rather than a laboratory exercise. The house remains independent and artisanal, a small but respected voice in Italian niche perfumery.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
