Ramsons
Premium fragrances made accessible for every Indian.
Ramsons Perfumes was started in Mumbai in 1984 by Ramesh Pandey, who set out to make Indian-made fragrance accessible at price points then dominated by imported product. The company grew under the next generation of the family into one of the larger homegrown fragrance manufacturers in India, with three production facilities, a reach into roughly a hundred and fifty thousand retail outlets, and a stated capacity of several million units per month. The catalogue spans eau de parfum, attars, deodorants, talcs, and air fresheners, oriented toward mass-market floral, fruity, and oriental themes rather than niche perfumery. Ramsons sits in the same value tier as Indian competitors such as Fogg and Titan Skinn, and expanded into the UAE in 2024 as the brand's first overseas market.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
