RazoRock
Italian wet-shaving craft for North America.
RazoRock was founded in 2009 by Joseph Abbate as the house brand of Italian Barber, a Canadian e-commerce business that Abbate built into one of North America's largest wet-shaving retail operations. The brand draws its identity from the Italian barbering tradition — the name combining razor and rock in a compound that suggests both precision and permanence — and sources many of its products from small Italian soap and fragrance manufacturers, particularly in the Piedmont region where artisan shaving-soap production has a long history. RazoRock's fragrance output is primarily functional: shaving soaps, aftershave splashes, and colognes formulated for the wet-shaving ritual rather than as standalone fine fragrance. Scents tend toward the traditional barbershop register — lavender, fougère, citrus, herbs, vetiver — with occasional forays into more characterful orientals and aquatics designed to appeal to the enthusiast community. The brand distributes almost exclusively through Italian Barber's own website, reaching a global audience of wet-shaving enthusiasts who prioritise craftsmanship, value, and the pleasure of a well-executed grooming ritual.
