Roberto Ugolini
Florentine leather wisdom in fragrance.
Roberto Ugolini was founded in Florence in 2019 by master shoemaker Roberto Ugolini and his creative partner Herbert Stricker, making it one of the rare fragrance houses to emerge directly from the Florentine luxury-craft tradition. The house translates the sensory vocabulary of fine leather — the smell of hide, wax, wood lasts, and Arno-side workshop air — into sophisticated niche perfumery. The compositions avoid obvious leather accord clichés, instead referencing texture, temperature, and the slow passage of time that quality craftsmanship demands. The portfolio is deliberately small, with each release treated as a bespoke object connected to Roberto Ugolini's broader practice as a shoemaker to discerning international clientele. The house occupies an unusual niche: half art object, half wearable tribute to Florentine artisanal memory.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
