Rodin Olio Lusso
Luxury oil infuses fragrance with sensuality.
Rodin Olio Lusso is a New York luxury beauty and fragrance house founded in 2007 by Linda Rodin, the former fashion editor and stylist who distilled decades of professional beauty expertise into a single multi-tasking face oil. The name translates as 'oil of luxury,' and the brand's ethos is rooted in the idea that the finest ingredients, properly combined, need no further elaboration. Rodin's face oil became a cult object among editors and models before expanding into fragrance, where the same sensory philosophy applies: rich, animalic, and enveloping compositions that feel like a second skin rather than a perfume sprayed on top of one. Jasmine Absolute, released in partnership with Barneys, became the house's fragrance calling card—heady, waxy, and uncompromisingly opulent. The brand was acquired by Estée Lauder Companies but retains its independent positioning. Rodin appeals to the luxury consumer who wants scent as a full sensory experience rather than a marketing exercise.
