Rogue
Show your strength and beauty, go Rogue.
Rogue is Rihanna's fourth major fragrance release, launched in partnership with Parlux Fragrances in September 2013. Built on the visual language of the campaign — bold, confrontational, shot by Mario Sorrenti — the scent itself is an oriental floral that softens the attitude with warmth: lemon blossom and cyclamen up top, jasmine and rose and suede in the heart, patchouli, vanilla, and amber settling into the base. Parlux, a wholly owned subsidiary of Perfumania Holdings, had developed the earlier Rihanna franchise (beginning with Reb'l Fleur in 2011) and brought Rogue to department stores including Macy's and Dillard's. The launch garnered significant international press, with a London projection on Marble Arch marking its European arrival. Rogue Love followed in 2014, extending the franchise's oriental character in a softer register.
