Savour
Scandinavian fragrance philosophy.
Savour was founded by Linda Landenberg Holst in Sweden, building a fragrance house around Scandinavian design principles applied to olfaction: restraint, precision, honesty of material, and the particular beauty of understatement. Landenberg Holst's compositions reflect the Nordic sensory environment—clear forest air, mountain water, the particular quality of Scandinavian light across seasons—filtered through a contemporary perfumery sensibility that resists both minimalism as affectation and excess as ambition. The brand positions itself as an alternative to the overwrought sweetness that dominates mass fragrance markets and the showmanship that defines much of the niche sector, offering instead compositions that reward close wearing and honest attention. Savour's aesthetic is consistent with the Scandinavian design tradition that prizes functionality and authenticity: fragrances that smell like the materials they are made from rather than like marketing concepts. The house distributes through direct channels and selected Nordic and European retailers, maintaining the independent character that its Scandinavian identity implies.
