Sergio Scaglietti
Four fragrances from the memory of a coachbuilder.
Sergio Scaglietti is an ultra-niche Italian fragrance project created by Simone Scaglietti as a tribute to his grandfather Sergio Scaglietti, the legendary Modena coachbuilder who hand-crafted Ferrari bodies from the 1950s through the 1970s. Working from a deeply personal archive of sensory memory — motor oil, leather upholstery, hot metal, the Emilian countryside outside the workshop — Simone developed a collection of just four fragrances, each corresponding to a distinct chapter of his grandfather's life and craft. The collection is ultra-niche in the most literal sense: tiny production volumes, no conventional retail distribution, and a story so specific that the audience is self-selecting. Simone functions as both creative director and perfumer, giving the project an unusually intimate coherence. The fragrances are housed in packaging that references Ferrari's design language and are sold through a very limited network of specialist retailers and directly to collectors. It represents a vanishingly rare intersection of Italian automotive heritage and perfumery.
