Skinn
Tata-owned Indian designer fragrance, composed in France.
Titan Company launched Skinn in 2013 as India's first fine fragrance brand designed and produced entirely in France, an unusual positioning that acknowledged both the Indian market's appetite for European olfactory credentials and Titan's confidence in its own standing as a premium domestic brand within the Tata Group. The inaugural collection of six fragrances — three masculine, three feminine — was composed by a roster that included Alberto Morillas, Harry Fremont, Fabrice Pellegrin, and Olivier Pescheux, names more often associated with global prestige launches than with entry-level pricing. That tension is the brand's defining characteristic: French master perfumers producing compositions shaped by Indian sensibilities and sold at Indian department-store prices. Skinn has since expanded significantly, adding oriental and woody expressions that lean into the subcontinent's own aromatic traditions while remaining legible to the Western-educated consumer. The fragrance division has become one of Titan's more visible growth areas in an Indian luxury market that is both more sophisticated and more competitive than it was at the brand's launch.
