Stephanie de Bruijn Parfum sur Mesure
Parisian bespoke perfumery, one client at a time.
Stéphanie de Bruijn established her bespoke perfumery practice in Paris in 2008, with a laboratory near Le Bon Marché in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Raised in the Grasse region, she trained as an artisan perfumer and won the ISIPCA International Perfumer Competition in 2001 with a composition titled Poignées d'Amour, which signalled the playful, intimate register her later work would inhabit. The house's primary offering is custom fragrance: each commission begins with a sensory consultation exploring the client's history and tastes, followed by roughly a month of formulation work and a second appointment to refine the result. Alongside the bespoke service, she sells a small collection of essences built from rare raw materials. Pricing reflects the artisanal, one-to-one nature of the work and sits at the upper end of the ultra-niche bracket. The house suits wearers seeking a genuinely personal fragrance rather than a curated selection from an existing line.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
