Thymes
Botanically minded American home fragrance.
Thymes is an American home and personal-fragrance company founded in 1982 in Minneapolis by friends Leslie Ross Lentz and Stephanie Shopa. The brand began with hand-crafted bath and body products made from local botanicals — including herbs grown in the founders' own gardens — and grew into one of the leading names in American specialty fragrance retail. The range now spans candles, diffusers, soaps, lotions, and personal scents, with signature compositions like Frasier Fir, Goldleaf, and Olive Leaf that have become recognisable fixtures in independent gift shops across North America. The aesthetic is clean and quietly upscale rather than overtly luxe — botanically literate, slightly nostalgic, comfortable on a bedside table. Thymes is now part of CURiO Brands, the platform created in 2016 through a merger with DPM Fragrance, alongside Capri Blue.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
