Ucca
Southeast Asian oud traditions in contemporary form.
Ucca is an Indonesian niche fragrance house founded in 2020 from a collaboration between Lokajaya Perfumes & Atar and Suko Oud, rooted in the founders' lifelong connection to Javanese culture and their love of agarwood and natural attars. The brand was established with a mission to represent the olfactory heritage of Indonesia — a country with deep traditions in fragrance, incense, and the use of scent in spiritual and daily life — and to introduce that identity to a broader contemporary audience. Ucca's signature fragrance, Batavia Oud, began as an idea for a natural hair serum before evolving into a perfume that encapsulates the brand's woody, resinous DNA. The house produces limited-edition niche fragrances in collaboration with independent perfumers, maintaining an artistic and storytelling approach rather than a commercial volume model. For those interested in Southeast Asian oud perfumery outside the Gulf and Indian traditions, Ucca offers one of the clearest expressions of a distinctly Javanese point of view.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
