Vasilisa / ヴァシリーサ
Vasilisa was launched in 2013 by Rola, the Japanese mixed-heritage model and television personality, as a mid-range fragrance brand aimed at making quality scent accessible across Asia. The line is best known for its signature solid perfume sticks — compact, portable cylinders with individual animal-illustrated labels designed by artist Sawada Chihiro — which rapidly became bestsellers on Japan's top beauty review platform Cosme. Beyond the perfume sticks, Vasilisa produces body mists formulated with layered top, middle, and base notes in the tradition of fine fragrance, a considered touch unusual for the format. Scent profiles lean toward the playful and feminine — fruity florals, vanillic musks, soft gourmands — and the brand's packaging communicates personality and approachability. Since launch, Vasilisa has found a devoted following throughout Japan and across East and Southeast Asia, building presence in markets where fragrance culture continues to grow quickly.
