Wilgermain
Brooklyn edge and Parisian savoir-faire in every flacon.
Wilgermain was founded by Francisco Gratacós, a Barcelona-born creative born in 1979 whose passion for design and fragrance led him to a pivotal meeting with Spanish perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux in 2007. The collaboration between Gratacós and Flores-Roux — one of niche perfumery's most respected working perfumers — became the engine behind the house's distinctive voice: compositions that negotiate between New York's contemporary directness and European classical refinement. The house positions itself on the creative tension between American energy and Old World technique, seeking fragrances that carry the ambition and irreverence of Brooklyn street culture alongside the material knowledge and structural discipline of Parisian training. Wilgermain's limited but carefully curated catalog reflects the founder's preference for depth over volume — each fragrance treated as a serious compositional statement rather than a line extension. The partnership with Flores-Roux gives the house access to genuine perfumery expertise, elevating it above the founder-story novelty category.
