Yas Perfumes
Bani Yas heritage, composed between Abu Dhabi and France.
Yas Perfumes was founded in Abu Dhabi in 1999 by Abdul Aziz Al Qaisieh, taking its name and identity from the Bani Yas tribe — the historical confederation whose descendants include the ruling Al Nahyan family of Abu Dhabi and the Al Maktoum family of Dubai. The brand frames itself as a bridge between traditional Khaleeji perfumery and contemporary French eau de parfum technique, with juices often composed in France for an Emirati distribution footprint. The catalogue spans concentrated oud and musk attars in the regional manner alongside sprayable eaux that lean oriental, woody and amber. Stores cluster in Abu Dhabi — Marina Mall, Saadiyat Island — with a smaller presence in Dubai and Gulf travel retail. Yas suits wearers drawn to the Khaleeji school of perfumery and to gift-giving within Gulf social rituals, where presentation and lineage of the maker carry as much weight as the composition itself.
