Yntenzo
Perfumes should not be consensual.
Yntenzo is an artisanal Portuguese perfumery founded in 2018 by Daniel Vilaça in Braga, northern Portugal, with a deliberate rejection of consensus scent-making. The house operates an experience-store concept on Rua do Souto where visitors can commission fully bespoke fragrances, selecting and blending ingredients to create something entirely personal — one of few perfumeries outside Paris or London to offer this level of creative immersion. Yntenzo draws on Portugal's rich aromatic heritage and its Age of Discovery history, with several compositions referencing the spices and botanicals that arrived in Lisbon along the old trade routes. Production ranges from artisan retail batches to a manufacturing capacity of 20,000 units per day for private-label clients, making the house both a creative destination and a serious industrial operation. Packaging references traditional Portuguese azulejo tiles and cobblestone paving, grounding each bottle in a specific sense of place.
